Dan Buraga | Lead Pastor
Dan is from the beautiful country of India and had the privilege of growing up in a Christian family. When he was 10, Jesus led Dan to himself and Dan became a Christian. Two years later he was baptized.
After graduating from Lancaster Bible College, the Lord impressed on Dan that it was only what would be done for Christ, his word, and his people that would last for eternity. This was Dan’s call into ministry.
Dan met his beautiful wife Jaime at Lancaster Bible College. Her intellect and discernment have been an incredible complement to his life and ministry. They like road trips, movies, and exploring cities together, but especially enjoy spending time with their three children.
Additionally, Dan has a Masters from Wheaton College and has spent more than a decade in full time Christian ministry. He is most excited about the future of Harvest Fairfax because of Jesus' promise in Matthew 16:18 that he will build his church.

Ben Garcia | Director of Worship Arts
Ben is from the great state of Texas. His parents have worked in full-time ministry his entire life. Because of this, his family moved around the state and the country quite often. Ben spent his childhood years in Texas but went to high school in New Jersey where his father served as the Youth Pastor for a local church. Once he graduated from High School, Ben returned to Texas to attend Dallas Baptist University.
It was at the age of eight that Ben received Jesus as his Savior from sin. While his life did not drastically change as an eight year old, there was a deep desire to serve God. Music is where Ben thrived and he was always involved in choirs, Easter and Christmas musicals, and leading worship. In college Ben found that while he loved music, it was using music to serve the Lord that truly stirred his heart.
It was also while attending Dallas Baptist University that Ben would meet the love of his life, Robin. It took Ben a little while to realize he was in love. Once he did it was clear that she was the woman that God had given him to be his bride. They were married July of 2009. Recently, they have had the joy of having their first child. On October 9, 2011, Adeline Rose was born.
Through a series of God-ordained events God led Ben to leave Dallas and move to Davenport, Iowa. When the possibility of planting a church in Fairfax, VA was presented to him he knew that it was God orchestrating his life to be a part of this new church. It is Ben’s deepest desire that all creative and artistic aspects of HBC Fairfax be used properly as a means to bring glory to God.
